Description
First dance for Papa! This charming spoon would make a great addition to your collection of vintage silver! Shorter than a typical teaspoon, this sterling silver piece bears the portrait of a dancing girl. The ringleted young miss poses with both hands grasping the sides of her frock to reveal one foot in proper en pointe foot position. The handle of the spoon showcases a garland pattern adorned with roses in full bloom. On the back of the spoon, the garland frames a RW hallmark, maker’s marks, the word Sterling, and a Pat. 1898 stamp. In great condition, this charming piece has not been professionally cleaned and polished in order to preserve its vintage patina. This piece may also have surface wear and minor imperfections including dings. Don't let this great vintage piece pass you by!
This spoon weighs 16.6 grams. The spoon measures 5 1/4" in length.
We guarantee this spoon to be sterling as stamped. Please check out the enlarged pictures.
